Saint Paul College — A Community & Technical College is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, through the Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP).

Program Accreditation

The College also holds program-specific accreditation by: The American Culinary Foundation Accrediting Commission, The Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care, the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences and the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. The Practical Nursing Program is approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.  Business programs are accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). The Health Information Technology AAS Degree Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education.

Definition & standards

Saint Paul College meets established standards and is approved for the instruction of veterans, orphans of war veterans, state and federal rehabilitation students, and members of the workforce needing training or retraining. Saint Paul College meets the definition of an institution of higher education, and students are entitled to participate in federal financial assistance programs.
