Saint Paul College & Hennepin Technical College

The Manufacturing Mentoring Workshop is designed to train and support adults aged +50 and older with at least ten years of manufacturing experience to work with students and recently-hired individuals to prepare them for a successful career in manufacturing.

The purpose of this program is to develop entry-level employee/student skills to improve retention and reduce business internal training costs through careful matches of learners with experienced manufacturing career professionals.
 

Become a Mentor! You will learn:

  • Stages of a Mentoring Relationship
  • Rules and Guidelines for mentors
  • Adult Learning styles and implications
  • Communication skills
  • Coaching skills

Dates:

Fridays, April 16 & 23, 2010

Time:

11:30am - 3:30pm
Bring own lunch, as lunch will NOT be provided; however, there will be light refreshments

Cost:

$79.00
Students that are over the age of 50 and currently retired are eligible to enroll in the course at a reduced rate.
