The Desire2Learn portal offers you the opportunity to view our award-winning eLearning courses. Our Online courses offer full access to complete courses via the Internet; Web Enhanced courses of partial classroom seat time as well as online access to the course; and Web Supplemental courses offer a full seat-time course with instructor prescribed online activities. Our courses demonstrate our dedication to designing and supporting exceptional eLearning solutions for student success.
Online Education at the College
Saint Paul College is committed to providing learning opportunities to students that are free of place or time restrictions. By utilizing the latest technology, the College delivers courses at places and times that are convenient to the student. Courses delivered via the Internet using the Desire2Learn learning management system allow students and faculty to communicate regardless of the distance between them. Technology and its application allow the expansion of learning access to educational opportunities which may not be otherwise possible.
Online Course: A course where the delivery method is entirely or predominately online, where all or nearly all, course activity occurs in an online environment.
If you are looking for flexibility in your schedule, then online courses may be right for you. Examine the following list of items you will need:
- I have internet access at home with a minimum of a 56 K modem.
- I have an internet browser, Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape 4.0 or higher.
- A monitor with at least 640 x 480 resolution and 256 colors or higher.
- I am comfortable with following written instructions and rarely need instructor input.
- I usually get things done ahead of time.
- My personal schedule allows for plenty of extra time to spend online.
- I have an e-mail account and am familiar with the Internet.
- I am comfortable with trying new and innovative technologies to solve problems.

How to Register
- Complete the Online Application for Admission.
- Request transcripts from high school (or GED scores) and official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended for submission to Enrollment Services.

Students must log into their courses by 11:00pm, Friday, 08/27/10. If new to D2L, students MUST attend one of the following Online Course Orientations:
