Saint Paul College Transfer Center
Transcript Evaluation
How to have your transcript evaluated
- Request an official transcript from your previous institution. The Official transcript MUST come in a sealed envelope addressed from your previous institution; it can be hand-delivered or mailed directly to:
Records Office
Saint Paul College
235 Marshall Ave
Saint Paul, MN 55102
- Please allow 4 weeks for transcript evaluation to be completed.
- Once your transcript has been evaluated, you will receive an email with a DARS report. Provided here is a tutorial on How to Read a DARS Audit.
- Satisfactory Academic Progress
Transfer students who do not meet Satisfactory Academic Progress at a previous institution will be placed on academic suspension from Saint Paul College. Our Satisfactory Academic Progress policy states that a student must complete at least 67% of their coursework attempted and maintain a GPA of 2.0. A student who is placed on academic suspension due to previous coursework at another institution does need to appeal the suspension at Saint Paul College.
- Prior Learning Credit
- If you have questions about your evaluation, please contact the transcript evaluator for an explanation of your evaluation.
- Students may dispute their transfer decision through an appeal process facilitated through the Transfer Center. If you are still not satisfied with the results of this appeal, you may appeal to the Vice President of Academic Affairs & Student Development at Saint Paul College. A third and final transfer appeal is available at the system level. See Procedure 3.37.1 Part 7.
