"Fast Track" program for working adults
Want to earn a two–year college degree in your spare time? Saint Paul College has the answer.
With time a precious commodity these days, Saint Paul College has come up with a way for you to accomplish what might seem impossible: Earn a college degree in your spare time.
Sounds too good to be true? It's not. The College's new Fast Track program is designed for working adults who want to earn a two–year Business Management AS degree or a Business Administration AAS degree by going to school on a part–time basis. Fast Track courses are also available in reading, writing, and math. It works like this: Students take eight–week courses and attend class two days per week — Tuesdays, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and/or 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. What's more, classes are also available online. The College's regular Business Management and Business Administration degree programs are still offered at the main campus.
The classroom portion of the courses are held in the UAW–Ford–MnSCU Training Center, which is on the grounds of the Ford Motor Co. plant in St. Paul's Highland Park neighborhood. The facility is easily accessible and parking is plentiful and convenient.
Don Carlson, Saint Paul College's dean of Business, Computer Careers & Communications, notes that the courses are offered on a first–come, first–served basis, so it pays not to delay in signing up. "These are becoming increasingly popular as people discover how convenient they are," he notes. "It's not often that you can find a solid program that allows you to earn a degree in this fashion."
