The Power of YOU program makes the first two years of college available tuition-free at Saint Paul College for students meeting the eligibility requirements of the program. Students are required to graduate from a public high school in the spring of their senior year and meet a family adjusted gross income of less than $75,000 to be eligible for the program.

The Power of YOU will support as many students as possible based on student need and available funds. Tuition and fees are covered through state and federal grants and private scholarships.

Tuition and fees not covered by grants students receive will be funded by the Power of YOU program. Advising and support services will be provided to help students succeed at college.

If students begin the Power of YOU at Saint Paul College, they may be eligible for merit-based scholarships to continue on to earn a baccalaureate (four-year) degree at Metropolitan State University.

The program is a collaboration among Saint Paul College, Minneapolis Community and Technical College (MCTC) and Metropolitan State University that provides access to a broad spectrum of academic programs and career pathways.

The three colleges are working closely with the cities of St. Paul, St. Paul suburbs and Minneapolis, their school systems, community organizations and philanthropic organizations to support this program.

Explore the Power of YOU! College is not just a dream. Make it a reality for you!
