Vice President of Academic Affairs/Chief Academic Officer

Located in the heart of the capital city of St. Paul, MN, Saint Paul College is an accredited community and technical college with over 9,800 students enrolled in liberal arts and sciences/transfer, career and technical education programs, apprenticeship, and continuing education and customized training. In 2010, Saint Paul College celebrated its 100th anniversary and was recognized as the No. 1 Community College in the nation by Washington Monthly magazine for student engagement, collaborative learning, and student graduation rate. Saint Paul College is one of the most diverse public colleges in Minnesota, with 58% minority enrolled students, and one of the fastest growing two-year colleges in Minnesota, with enrollment increasing by 86 percent to 4,729 Full-Year Equivalent (FYE) students from 2000 to 2012. 

The College awards Associate in Arts, Associate in Science and Associate in Applied Science degrees, as well as diplomas and certificate programs. In addition to a full complement of Liberal Arts & Sciences curricula, the College has 115 programs ranging from practical nursing to construction trades, computer science, culinary arts, and pre-engineering. The College also delivers innovative student-centered programs including: the Power of YOU, a tuition free program for underserved students, providing enhanced student support services and education through state and federal grants and private scholarships to close the achievement gap; Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO); and the Career Pathways Academy, providing area high school students access to educational opportunities and the ability to earn college credit through concurrent enrollment.
