Kurt received a BA in history in 1993 and an MA in American history in 1996 from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. He has also completed undergraduate course work at the University of Alaska - Anchorage and studied in the graduate programs at Villanova University and the University of Delaware.
In addition to teaching history at Saint Paul College, Kurt serves as a contributing editor for The History Channel Magazine. In this position he coordinates the magazine's fact-checking process, writes the "This Week in History" column, and contributes feature articles to the magazine.

Ayesha teaches US History, History of Women in the US, and Contemporary World History at Saint Paul College. She has a B.A. in History and English from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois and received her Ph.D. in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1997. Prior to joining the faculty at Saint Paul College in 2005, Ayesha taught at Smith College in Massachusetts and at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, Hamline University, Augsburg College, and Normandale Community College in the Twin Cities area.
From 1998 to 2003, Ayesha also worked in the field of public history as a museum exhibit developer for the Minnesota Historical Society. She lives in St. Paul with her husband and two sons, who keep her quite busy when she’s not teaching.

Vaughn received a BAA in teaching social studies 1991, and BA in history in 1993 from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He also earned an MA in history with a focus in Latin American studies in 1996 from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. In addition to teaching history at Saint Paul College as an adjunct instructor, Vaughn reviews and fact-checks articles for The History Channel Magazine. Vaughn also works as a full-time consultant in project management, mostly within the healthcare field.
