Parking
Saint Paul College will offer Crashed Ice Event Parking on Friday, January 25 and Saturday, January 26 starting at 5:00 p.m. All students, faculty, and staff who have a contract parking access card will be able to park in the parking lots at the current daily parking rate, if space is available. All other users of the Saint Paul College parking lot will be charged event parking rates starting at 5:00pm on January 25 and 26, 2013.
Street Closures
Red Bull Event Street Closures and Detours from Friday, January 25 through Sunday, January 27, 2013
- Friday, January 25 at 3:00pm and all day on Saturday and Sunday, January 26 - 27
All of Marshall Avenue will be closed. All vehicles must access the parking lot through the Kellogg Blvd. or Concordia Avenue entrances. Anyone without a parking access card will be assisted at an entrance by a parking lot attendant or by pressing the intercom button. Please note that you will still be able to exit the parking lot at Marshall Avenue during these times.

Cafeteria
The number of Red Bull Crashed Ice Event employees who will be eating in shifts in our cafeteria will peak at over 300 people for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Friday and Saturday, January 25 and 26. A section of our cafeteria will be reserved for the Red Bull Crashed Ice Event employees. Athlete participants in the event will also be eating in our City View Grille from Thursday through Saturday, January 24-26, 2013.
Noise
The Red Bull Crashed Ice Event has received a City of Saint Paul noise variance permit for will have a large sound system.
The event planners have agreed to try to reduce the sound as much as possible during the following days and times due to Saint Paul College’s class schedules:
- Wednesday, January 23 – sound check from 4:00pm - 5:00pm
- Thursday, January 24 – sound on from 1:30pm to 3:00pm (National Shootout Competition - light sound)
- Friday, January 25 – sound on from 5:00pm to 10:00pm
- Saturday, January 26 – sound on from 4:00pm to 10:00pm
