E-Folio Fest Sponsored by the Speech Department

The Speech Department held the first E-Folio Fest at the College on December 12, 2006.  The event recognized outstanding academic excellence in the development of required Student E-Folio Projects.  The Ceremony was “Academy Award” style and recognized students in several categories including written and oral communication, technology innovation, outstanding research and documentation, and several other areas.  The E-Folio is an innovative curricular component of the Speech Department that documents student work and can be used as an employment tool.  Approximately 600 students develop E-Folios each semester and their accomplishments were celebrated at the E-Folio Fest.
