EnableMath™ Program

The EnableMath™ Program, implemented Fall 2006, is providing Saint Paul College students with adaptive/mastery-based e-tools and homework technology to help them master math competencies in developmental and transferable courses.  As a part of the program, assessment tools are being used to help identify student deficiencies and areas where interventions are needed.  The program is expanding during Spring Semester 2007 and will continue to help even more students as they progress through the math sequence at the College.  The program is funded through a grant the College received from Noel-Levitz to help the large number of students who struggle with math courses.  Novel-Levitz reports that one of the “single greatest obstacles for students seeking a college degree is the devastating failure and drop out rates in math courses.”
