Healthworks Walking Challenge
Saint Paul College employees were given the opportunity to participate in the Healthworks Walking Challenge during the month of November and beginning of December. Employees were divided into teams and competed for the “Steppin’ Out Traveling Trophy.” The trophy was awarded to the Administration A team on December 12th.
The Healthworks Walking Challenge was held at Saint Paul College between November 6th and December 8th. 77 college employees participated in the challenge, which consisted of recording each participant’s total steps for the day and logging the steps on the Team log. The department with the highest daily average step was awarded the “Steppin’ Out Traveling Trophy.” The trophy was awarded during the College’s annual holiday party on December 12th to the Administration - A team. The traveling trophy is proudly displayed on top of Sharon Horn’s desk in the administration office. A total of 13,397,372 steps were taken for a total of 6,699 miles. The top 5 walkers in the college were Sharon Horn – 466,358; Mark Ryan – 350,482; Barb Bialucha – 347,803; Brad Blitz – 341,583; and Dawn Swanson – 341,149.
