IPSEL GRANT: EnableMath™ Implementation Initiative
Saint Paul College was awarded $99, 539 in funding from the Office of the Chancellor through a Institutional Awards to Promote Excellence in Student Learning (IPSEL) initiative designed to promote excellence in student learning. In Fall 2006, Saint Paul College launched a model EnableMath™ Retention Implementation Initiative aimed at achieving significant, ongoing student retention, readiness and success in postsecondary mathematics by meeting the needs of students with diverse backgrounds and goals. The grant provides competitive compensation for faculty and staff involved in launching the EnableMath™ Implementation Initiative through September 2007 for students enrolled in developmental math classes.
