Office of Civil Rights to review the College in February
Eight representatives from the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities will conduct a routine, onsite Office of Civil Rights (OCR) review of Saint Paul College on February 26-28, 2007, to ensure compliance with federal civil rights guidelines, specifically Title VI, and Title IX, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the American Disabilities Act of 1990. All programs that receive federal funds must be reviewed; Saint Paul College was last reviewed in 1998.
On February 26, members of the team will evaluate the facilities for ADA Compliance followed by a review of current publications and materials on February 27, 2007. On February 28, 2007 a group of faculty, staff and students will be interviewed by the committee followed by a presentation by the team to members of the Management Team.
