A successful Student Success Day

The Spring 2007 Student Success Day took place February 22. The event had a Mardi Gras theme and focused on employment and educational opportunities available to students after they complete their program at Saint Paul College. The day included a Career Fair that brought a dozen employers to campus; a transfer fair that included 16 colleges and universities; and, workshops on resume writing and interviewing techniques. There were also off campus activities. Twenty-eight Power of YOU students toured the state capital, thirty-five Culinary Arts students traveled to the Mid-town Global Market in Minneapolis and forty others went to the Minnesota History Museum. In all approximately 650 students took advantage of the many opportunities of the day.
