ITC will all be on one floor!
Following Spring Break, the Instructional Technology Center (ITC) will be located entirely on the third floor. The Quad Rooms 306 – 308 will be dedicated Open Lab for students; 322 will be the Developmental Learning Center (EnableMath, PLATO, etc.), and the Assessment Center will be in Room 324.
Last week to respond to the Institutional Priority Survey (IPS)
As part of our retention opportunity study, we have been asked by Noel-Levitz to provide responses from faculty, staff and administrators on items contained on the Institutional Priority Survey (IPS). All personnel with a working email address should have received a link and password to respond to this survey. Those who respond will be entered into a drawing for prizes. If you have not already done so please respond no later than March 8. Thank you.
Weather-related school closings
In the event of severe winter weather that may require the closing, delayed start or cancellation of classes, all employees and students will be notified through announcements on WCCO Radio (830 AM) or by leaving a message in your voicemail box.
Faculty Lobby Day at the Capitol
The Minnesota State College Faculty Association is planning a lobby day at the Capitol on Tuesday, March 20. This event will provide an opportunity for faculty representatives to discuss relevant issues regarding the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities budget request and other issues regarding higher education. The goal of this activity is ask legislators to push forward to fully fund inflation as well as the technology request and other special initiatives put forward to the Minnesota Legislature. Salon/Clinic Services
The Cosmetology, Esthetician and Massage Therapy Departments offer services to the general public as well as faculty, staff, and students. All work is done by students only, under the supervision of an instructor. Whether you need a new “do”, a glorious facial or a deep tissue massage, we have the services available that will renew your look and/or your spirit! Interested in fine dining here at the College? Each semester, the Culinary Arts students prepare and serve exquisite breakfast, lunch and dinner cuisine in the City View Grille. The Culinary Arts program and the City View Grille invite you to enjoy these delectable dining experiences.
