Wells Fargo Foundation Supports Power of YOU

The Wells Fargo Foundation recently announced a $40,000 grant for the Power of YOU program. President Schwichtenberg, along with the presidents from Metropolitan State University and Minneapolis Community and Technical College, met with the CEO and executive officers of Wells Fargo on July 16 to discuss their financial participation in the Power of YOU. Their financial support brings the total raised to $3,164,092 of a total budget of $6,396,570. The Power of YOU program provides the first two-years of college tuition-free to graduating seniors in Minneapolis and St. Paul public schools. This fall 164 new Power of YOU students enrolled at Saint Paul College.
