Legislative Committees review 2008 Bonding request

Minnesota Senate and House Capital Investment Committee members will visit the College on November 27, 2007 and January 30, 2008 to review the College's request for $13,500,000 to complete Phase II of the Ground Floor renovation. The completion of this phase will provide a modern, 21st century environment for students that more closely reflects a real-world working environment in the trades. It will also provide greater flexibility in the utilization of the space for other academic areas in the College.

The 2006 Legislature approved the design for Phase II, and the implementation of the design and associated construction costs will be the focus of our legislative lobbying efforts for the 2008 Legislative Session.
