Class 1000 clean room

We are proceeding with the construction of a Class 1000 clean room which will be installed in the month of January with the funds received during the last legislative session. Initially we hope to attract several small startup nanotechnology and biosciences companies to use our clean room on a fee for service basis. By the fall of 2008 we plan to begin academic use of the facility. We will be purchasing several pieces of very sophisticated analytical lab equipment such as a Mass Spectrometer, Scanning Beam Electron Microscope and an Atomic Force Microscope.
