College receives $345,000 grant

Congratulations to the Customized Training Division and Joy Sommers who recently received a grant of $345,000 from the State of Minnesota for training employees of the Medallion Cabinetry Company of Waconia, MN a division of Elkay Corporation. The grant will focus on processes supporting “Green Manufacturing” in the cabinetry industry. Medallion employs 750 employees at four facilities in Minnesota including Waconia, Savage, New Ulm and Glencoe.
