Promotions
New administrator
- Dr. Gary Hertel has started in his new position as Dean for the Trade & Technical programs at Saint Paul College! He began on November 1, 2007. Gary comes to Saint Paul with excellent credentials. He holds an Ed.D. in Administration & Curriculum & Instruction; an M.Ed. in Administration; and a B. S. Degree in Political Science all from the University of Nebraska. In addition, Gary holds a Master Mechanic Certificate from Denver Automotive Institute, in Denver, CO.
Gary’s work experience is extensive. He has been an administrator in both public and private higher educational institutions such as Aims Community College, Hawkeye Community College, Arkansas College of Technology, and others. He has teaching experience in the automotive, small engine and welding fields in Nevada and Nebraska.

- Adam Johnson was hired as a Financial Aid Officer in our Financial Aid Office. He started on November 8, 2007.
- Halima Mohamud was hired as an Account Clerk, Senior in our Business Office. She started on November 7, 2007.
- Liban Mohamoud was hired as an Account Clerk, Senior in our Business Office. He started on November 7, 2007.

Sunshine Fund
- During the month of October and part of November, the Sunshine Fund gifted one employee for a birth, sent one memorial and two “Get Well” floral bouquets.
