Apply for a Scholarship

The Friends of Saint Paul College Foundation offers scholarships for Saint Paul College students for fall, spring and summer terms. 

​Scholarship application deadlines

Applications are now being accepted for a second round of Spring Semester scholarships. Applications are due by February 2, 2015.

Applicants for spring scholarships will be notified whether they received scholarships by February 27, 2015.

How to Apply for a Scholarship

Our online scholarship application makes it easy for you to apply and includes a list of all the different types of scholarships available to you as a student at Saint Paul College.

  • Apply online: You can apply for your scholarship online.
  • Automatic scholarship match: Our online scholarship manager will automatically match you with the
    scholarships for which you are eligible.
  • Instructor recommendation:

    You will need to know which instructor you would like to have write your recommendation and provide that person's email address. 
  • Write a short essay: You will be asked to write a short essay which you may type directly into the application, or copy and paste into the application from a word processor document. 
  • Upload current transc​ript: You will also be prompted to upload a current transcript.

The Friends of Saint Paul College Foundation is seeking nominations and applications for the President’s Scholarship, established by President Rassoul Dastmozd to honor the achievements of two outstanding
Saint Paul College students who will be graduating this year and transferring to a four-year college or university.  The scholarship will be paid to the four-year college or university. 
The scholarships will be awarded at Commencement on May 14, 2015.

Applications are due April 16, 2015. 

Student Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be a graduating Saint Paul College student earning an AA, AS, or AAS in May 2015.
• Must be accepted to a 4-year college or university to pursue a four-year degree, beginning fall semester 2015.
• Must attend Commencement on May 14, 2015.

 Considerations:
• Academic excellence
• Leadership capabilities
• Extracurricular activities
• Persistence in achieving goals

How to nominate a student or apply:
Faculty and staff may nominate a student by submitting the student’s name and at least two letters of recommendation to Laura Savin, Executive Director, Friends of Saint Paul College. Please let the student know that they are being nominated. 

Students may apply for the application by submitting their name and at least two letters of recommendation to Laura Savin, Executive Director, Friends of Saint Paul College.

Applications and nominations must include:
• 1-2 page essay describing the student’s experiences at Saint Paul College, their goals for their continued education, and their plans to give back to the community
• Resume
• Transcript

Nominations will be reviewed by the Friends of Saint Paul College Scholarship Committee. 
Applications are due April 16, 2015. 

Awarding
• The students and nominating staff/faculty will be notified by May 5, 2015.
• The scholarship recipient must be present at the Saint Paul College commencement ceremony 
on May 14, 2015 to formally receive the award.
