The Saint Paul College Card: Frequently Asked Questions

New students will be mailed a "Refund Selection Kit" from BankMobile after they register for classes at Saint Paul College.

Go to eServices to update your home address now so the card comes in the mail.

How do I choose my refund preference with BankMobile?

You will select your preference after receiving the BankMobile "Refund Selection Kit". The envelope will arrive at the primary address you have listed at the school. Please watch for an envelope such as the one below:

How will I know when my refund has been deposited to my BankMobile Vibe Account?

BankMobile Disbursements will know when you will receive your refund only after the school sends a refund file containing that information. Sign up for Mobile Alerts with BankMobile so you can be notified when your refund has been disbursed. You can also contact the Financial Aid or Tuition Office.

What if I do not receive my Refund Selection Kit in the mail?

Do I have to choose a preference for a refund with the green envelope that was mailed to me?

Title IV Financial Aid refunds will “time out” if a refund preference has not been selected. BankMobile will attempt to email you to encourage you to select a refund preference. If no preference is selected after 21 days, BankMobile will mail a check to the student at the primary address on file.

What is the BankMobile Vibe Account?

Designed exclusively with students in mind, BankMobile Vibe is a checking account that offers the power to bank anywhere, anytime. 

Do I have to open a BankMobile Vibe Account or do I have other choices?

You are not required to open a BankMobile Vibe Account. You can choose to have your financial aid disbursement deposited into your current bank account or have a paper check mailed to your home address. You select the option best for you when choosing your refund preference at www.refundselection.com.

Are there any ATM fees?

You will not be charged any fees for using an AllPoint Network ATM with your card issued by BankMobile. However, you may be charged for using another bank's ATM (see Fee Schedule). To locate the nearest AllPoint Network ATM, visit www.allpointnetwork.com. Two ATM’s located at the Saint Paul College campus are also fee free for students using a card issued by BankMobile. Those locations are just outside Information Technology and another is adjacent to the Student Records Office.

How does this program benefit students?

Financial aid refunds were previously issued by paper check and direct deposit into a bank account. This method resulted in a long wait for students because the majority of students choose to have their disbursements provided through a paper check. Students now have more options for how they receive their disbursements and, depending on the refund disbursement preference, will receive their money faster. Furthermore, students can save money because cashing a paper check can cost $15 or more.

Are there any daily limits to using a BankMobile issued ATM Card?

The total amount of funds you can spend in a day using your card is $3,000.00:

  • $500 in ATM withdrawals
  • $2,500 at a merchant or bank teller
    • The $2,500 may be in a combination of debit card swipe-and-sign, PIN based transactions, or teller withdrawals.
    • You may spend no more than $500 per day in PIN-based debit card transactions, including merchant purchases and cash withdrawals.
If I use a credit card to pay for tuition and then I am eligible for a refund because I withdraw from classes before the end of the add/drop period, does my refund go onto the Saint Paul College Card?

No, if tuition was paid by credit card either online or at the tuition window, the refund will be put back onto the credit card rather than being processed by BankMobile.
