The Teaching and Learning Technology Roundtable, as conceived and promoted by the American Association for Higher Education, was recently initiated to begin discourse on technology to enhance teaching and learning and to assist in moving the College to a “learning-college” model. The purpose of this group is “to provide access to quality teaching and learning to assist students in achieving their individual academic/career goals.” Initial endeavors of this group have resulted in increased usage of technology within the classroom to expand learning capabilities, and remote access to classes through the Internet.
