In December, Academic Effectiveness and Innovation recognized faculty members who have attended and passed Quality Matters Training.

Carla-Elaine Johnson and Ayesha Shariff took the web-based “Applying the QM Rubric” training in September. They learned how to apply the QM standards on online course design and give feedback.

Jim O’Halloran and Margaret LaFleur successfully completed the Quality Matters “Improving Your Online Course” in November, offered by the Minnesota Online Quality Initiative. They practiced applying standards to their current courses here at Saint Paul College and came away with an action plan to implement concrete improvements.​

Finally, Alli Vainshtein took the Peer Reviewer Course which will enable her to become a certified, paid, peer reviewer for QM.
