In August 2018, Keitha-Gail Martin-Kerr, associate dean of Faculty & Staff Development, and the Academic Effectiveness and Innovation Unit held its inaugural New Faculty Academy! The 3-day sessions were created to welcome new full-time and part-time faculty to Saint Paul College, ease their transition into the classroom, and equip them with the tools they need to be successful instructors.

The cohort, pictured above, reflects the wide array of Saint Paul College’s programs, with faculty from Sheet Metal, Sociology, English, Art, CNC, Surgical Technology and more! They will be meeting regularly throughout the year for “Lunch and Learn” sessions to stay connected, raise common issues and keep developing their skills.
