Saint Paul College A Community & Technical College

Congrats graduates 2020!

Saint Paul College 2020 Graduates – Your passion, dedication and determination has led you to this day. And, despite these challenging times, YOU made it!

Please join us here as we come together as a community to celebrate the Saint Paul College Class of 2020.

The graduation video will feature the Class of 2020 graduates that registered to participate in the virtual celebration, as well as messages from Interim President Deidra Peaslee, Vice President of Academic Affairs and Chief Academic Office Kristen Raney, and the Class of 2020 Student Speaker, and our very own Student Senate President Adam Heu.

Can’t make it at this time? Do not worry! The video will be available for friends and family to view online after the event.

Congratulations Graduate! You are now an Alum of Saint Paul College and we want to hear from you. Stay in touch as saintpaul.edu/Alumni.

Caricature of Adam Hue Associate of Arts

2020 Caricature Art Keepsake

The first 250 students that registered to participate in the virtual ceremony before the deadline will receive a special one-of-a-kind digital keepsake caricature! Students that qualified will receive a follow-up email with a link to order this keepsake.

Who is eligible to participate in the 2020 graduation ceremony?

Students that graduated in Fall 2019, students that have applied to graduate in Spring 2020 and Summer 2020.

Why can’t we celebrate in person at this time?

We know that you are disappointed and so are we. There is simply not a realistic option that can safely bring us physically together to celebrate in person given the current circumstances. We recognize that nothing can replace the opportunity to come together on May 14 to celebrate, however, we will all work together to celebrate in the best non-traditional ways.

How do I register to participate in the virtual graduation ceremony?

You must complete the registration form by Tuesday, May 12, 2020. Fill out the registration form and upload a recent picture of yourself for the ceremony.

Do I need to participate in the virtual ceremony to receive my award?

No, you are not required to participate in the ceremony to receive your award (degree/diploma/certificate).
Spring 2020 Graduates - will be mailed in July
Summer 2020 Graduates - will be mailed in September

How to I access my Saint Paul College student email address?

Please call or email the Help Desk if you need assistance accessing your email address.

What if I am interested in receiving my graduation regalia (cap/gown/tassel)?

All students that register to participate in the virtual graduation ceremony by the deadline will receive the Saint Paul College graduation cap, 2020 tassel, and any honors regalia they qualify for. These items will be mailed directly to your home in June.

How will I access the graduation program?

The marketing team is working to create a digital program that all graduates and guests will have access to. This program will be made available for the virtual ceremony and can be shared with family and friends.

What is the caricature keepsake?

The first 250 students that register to participate in the virtual ceremony and submit their photo will have the opportunity to receive a digital caricature keepsake. You will receive a follow-up email with information for how to receive this keepsake if you qualify. This is a unique way to recognize and celebrate your accomplishment.

What do I need to do if I received a Federal Student Loan while attending Saint Paul College?

You will need to complete the exit loan counseling process if you are graduating and you have not done so already. Additional information about this process can be found here.

What do I need to do if I have a library or tuition hold on my account?

Please log into your eServices account to make a payment.

Can we take pictures on the grounds at campus?

Yes, this is okay to do. Please be sure to practice appropriate social distancing measures outlined by state and federal guidelines.

Can I send faculty and staff flowers as a thank you on the campus

No, not right now. We would recommend sending an e-card or waiting until the staff or faculty member is back on campus. Although the thought is very kind, it would be bringing extra people to campus when it is not essential to do so.

Can we participate in the in-person graduation next spring?

We are currently looking at ways to make this an option. We will let you know when we determine if this is a possibility and/or what it may look like.

We want to stress that this decision will not impact a student’s ability to receive their award if they are on schedule to graduate. If students contact you with questions about graduation, please encourage them to reach out to the appropriate department.
