I want to take this opportunity to expand on an email I sent to our campus community earlier this week about Thanksgiving, to make sure that all of you know the deep sense of gratitude I feel for your support of Saint Paul College.
As we all gather with friends and family to celebrate Thanksgiving, I want to thank all of you who are connected to Saint Paul College for making our campus community such an extraordinary place The strong heartbeat and warmth of this college endures because of the students, faculty, staff and community partners who embrace our mission, vision and values. The generous support we receive from donors, from business and industry, and our community partners allows us to provide the best education and brightest future for our students. Your generosity allows us to thrive and grow, and make it through both the good and difficult times in today’s world.
All of the very dedicated and purposeful efforts of people on and off campus are what make Saint Paul College a great place for learning, where together we can celebrate both our similarities and differences. This true celebration of differences makes us a stronger institution, where the distinctiveness and individuality of each one of us, contributes to our depth and understanding as people and as an institution.
The tremendous collaboration, recognition and acknowledgement that we receive from our surrounding community provides our faculty and staff with an even greater sense of commitment and inspiration in serving our students and providing them with an extraordinary education. Together we all create an environment for our students where they are allowed to thrive as the true centers of this institution. We are so thankful for our students, who with their own passionate commitment to learning and with their desire to be successful in their chosen careers, continue this circle of education and learning throughout their lifetimes.
I cannot thank you all enough for your commitment to Saint Paul College.
May we all return to campus with renewed spirits, ready to engage once again in the mindfulness of student success, and encouraging each other in all that we do.
I wish you a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving and look forward to seeing you next week.
