July 25-28, Saint Paul College hosted approximately 100 students at their fifth annual Scrubs Camp.
Approximately 100 high school students in grades 9-12, participated in Scrubs Camp at Saint Paul College this past week. Students worked with faculty and industry partners as they participated in hands-on learning sessions and explored a variety of health science careers such as emergency medicine, nursing, pharmacy and behavioral health.
Scrubs Camp is a collaborative project between HealthForce Minnesota, Saint Paul College, LivingWell, Fairview Health System, Children’s Hospital of MN, Get Ready Program, Gillette Children’s Specialty HealthCare, HealthEast Medical Transportation Center, Medicine Education, and St. Paul Public Schools that teaches students about healthcare careers through interactive demonstrations in a fun and controlled learning environment.
