National survey recognizes Saint Paul College in top ten of tech-savvy community colleges

Saint Paul College was recognized in the top ten for large community colleges (enrollment of 10,000 students or more) by the Center for Digital Education’s Digital Community Colleges Survey Awards honoring community colleges that are using technology to improve how they deliver curriculum and services.

The winners of its 2015-16 Digital Community Colleges Survey were announced by the Center for Digital Education. "This year’s survey indicates community colleges are making great strides in using data to improve decisions, providing professional development to assist faculty in the use of technology, and creating robust online and mobile environments for their students," said Dr. Kecia Ray, executive director for the Center for Digital Education."

Information Technology (IT) Services at Saint Paul College designs, implements, and provides support for technology used by the students, faculty, and staff. Chief information officer, Najam Saeed, and director of technical services, Kelly Jacobson, and the staff of IT Services are committed to continuous development and innovation in providing support and services for technology that includes multiple server and computer platforms, wired and wireless infrastructure, security, email, duplicating services, Internet resources, website and intranet management, student computer labs, smart classroom technology, applications, telephony, database resources, and other technologies and services that support the computing needs of the college community.
