Three members of Saint Paul College’s business office were recognized with the Outstanding Service Award at the 2016 Chief Financial Officers Conference earlier this month. The Outstanding Service Award is presented in recognition of outstanding contributions toward furthering professionalism in financial management and other contributions in the field of financial reporting, data integrity, internal controls, budget development, and monitoring.
Colleen Haney, Teresa Sorenson, and Jean Reed were awarded the Outstanding Service Award for their instrumental roles on eProcurement, federal student aid processing improvements, and the development of new communications tools for student registration. In their nomination, Business Manager Elizabeth Schmidt, pointed out the team’s valuable contributions to the development of campus best-practices which resulted in high satisfaction survey results, increased campus utilization, and decreased processing errors.
