This week we honored our employees at our Employee Recognition & Appreciation Event, which is held annually to thank all of our employees for their exceptional contributions and service.
Special recognition is given to employees for their years of service: first year faculty and employees serving 1 year and every 5th year after that, and to those who are retiring. Excellence awards are given to individuals who have been nominated by their peers with the finalists determined by the Human Resources Committee for Individual Faculty Excellence Award; Individual Staff Excellence Award; and Collaborative Team Excellence Award.

What a wonderful, hardworking group of dedicated men and women who are making significant differences in the lives of our students. Our faculty and staff have grit, are resilient, model professionalism, and possess the ethics of care. I am so proud of our faculty, staff, and administrators. Together, we construct bridges of hope, opportunity, and success for our students throughout the year.
Congratulations to New Unlimited Faculty
At a separate celebration, the College hosted a reception honoring nine new Unlimited Faculty members. Each division dean honored individual faculty with warm words of recognition for their contributions as faculty members in the following program areas: American Sign Language Studies, Welding Technology, Truck Technician, Math, English, Practical Nursing, Physics and Business. The dedication and commitment of faculty to our students is personified by these instructors, and we wholeheartedly welcome them to the Academe!
