When we say that Saint Paul College is well-connected to business and industry to benefit our students, we mean it. This week the College’s
Career Services and the
Career & Technical Division programs held a career fair for students in transportation programs. Students and local and national employers were able to meet face-to-face to talk about job opportunities. Here are just a few pictures:
It’s a perfect example of how our dedicated faculty and staff build bridges of opportunity and success for our students so
when they start at Saint Paul College, they can go anywhere!

American Public Media
Several stories are posted on American Public Media website that you might find of interest. There is a strong correlation between
higher education degree attainment and economic mobility and security. Students’ testimonies also confirm that higher education degree attainment can provide transformational impact in one’s status in their life journey. Articles linked below provide examples and narratives of many students who pursued their higher education aspirations against many odds and overcame their life challenges:
Saint Paul College has been in the forefront of opening doors for all by offering pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship programs, especially through career exploration programs such as Women in Trades and
Trading Up 2.0. We are grateful to our supporting philanthropic partners (Women Foundation of MN and the Thrivent Financial) that are steadfast in their support of these programs and capacity building at Saint Paul College.
I will end this week’s blog by offering my sincere gratitude to our staff and faculty who go the extra mile and by providing exceptional services to our students and our community. I am honored to serve Saint Paul College, our students, faculty, and staff.
I wish you a relaxing weekend.
