On Monday August 27, 2018, fall semester will begin. There’s a positive energy and a can-do-attitude on campus as we get ready to welcome new and returning students to campus.
I think of Saint Paul College as the intersection of success and opportunity for our students. Our faculty and staff are the people who are the forces behind making this institution so great, and why students choose Saint Paul College.
There has been a marathon of extraordinary effort exerted by faculty and staff in preparation of the new semester. Thank you for your contributions, and lending a hand with an encouraging smile to our students prepare for the new semester, and the next leg of their educational journey.
Here’s a short recap of a few of my activities this week:

Fall 2018 In-Service
I welcomed all faculty members during their fall in-service this week. My theme for this year’s in-service was Saint Paul College is at the intersection of opportunity and success. I will end this week's blog by sharing a quote from
Kofi Atta Annan, 1938-2018.
Knowledge is power. Information is liberating. Education is the premise of progress, in every society, in every family.
I want to thank our faculty and staff for their commitment to our students throughout their journeys at Saint Paul College. Regardless of their roles and responsibilities, our employees exhibit and demonstrate the ethics of caring, and the ability to see different perspectives through others' eyes! Our team continues to promote and create an equitable learning environment.
I wish you a relaxing weekend.
