Students heard valuable comments from industry partners, and a scholarship was awarded by Saint Paul union IBEW 110 to student Cecillia Bell. Additional scholarships were awarded to 2nd-semester students by Hunt Electric and the St. Paul Chapter National Electrical Contractors Association.

The Electrical Technology Diploma is a popular program at Saint Paul College. It provides students with the knowledge and skills needed for employment in the electrical technology industry. Many graduates work with full-service electrical design, build, and maintenance companies like Hunt Electric or electric supply chain partners like Viking Electric in Minneapolis.

In addition to classroom instruction, Electrical Technology students have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through apprenticeships. With training and certification, students can pursue a lucrative career in the electrical industry. Electricians get the chance to work with innovative technology while providing essential services to homes and businesses and benefit from job opportunities that come with long-term job security.
