Saint Paul College A Community & Technical College

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

Saint Paul College is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our students, faculty, staff, and campus community members.

At this time, fully vaccinated individuals are not required to practice social distancing. MDH recommends that people who are not fully vaccinated should keep at least 6 feet away from people from other households.

You may choose to mask at any time. People with symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19 should wear a mask.

At this time, completing a screening questionnaire to enter campus is not required. You can enter the campus normally through any available entrance.

Self-Report an exposure or diagnosis of COVID-19 to help reduce the risk of coronavirus being unintentionally spread to others on campus. Your identity will be kept confidential.

Protocols for COVID Exposure and Positive Test

Have you been around someone with COVID?
The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) has updated its protocol for those that have experienced an exposure. If you have had close contact with someone with COVID-19, you do not need to quarantine if:

  • You have completed ALL recommended doses of COVID-19 vaccine when eligible, including a booster or additional doses.

If you have had close contact with someone with COVID-19, you need to quarantine if:

  • You are not vaccinated.
  • You are not up to date on COVID-19 vaccinations.

Have you tested positive for COVID?
MDH has updated its protocol for isolation following a positive test result. Stay home and away from others (isolate) for at least five days after your symptoms start. If you do not have symptoms, stay home for five days from the date you tested positive, even if you are fully vaccinated.
