Congratulations to the newest students inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society on Thursday, April 30, at 3:00 pm. The induction was led by the PTK Chapter Advisor, Promeet Singh, and student leader, Iangotiana Adnriamantsoa. Dr. Deidra Peaslee, President of Saint Paul College, spoke about the incredible honor of joining PTK and wished the inductees great success in their studies at SPC and in their careers beyond.

The inductions were preceded by three student speakers: Aicha Sangare, Kyharra N. Williams, and Julian Kirk. Each student shared the positive impact that SPC has had on their academic lives. In particular, Kyharra N. Williams spoke about how she returned to SPC after taking a break from academics, only to discover that, regardless of the different life paths she and everyone else may have taken, the instructors at SPC created a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

Phi Theta Kappa recognizes the academic achievements of college students and provides opportunities for them to grow as scholars and leaders. The twenty-three inductees are now in a position to cultivate professional and leadership skills, secure scholarships, explore diverse career paths, and build a network of supportive peers and trusted advisors that lasts a lifetime.
