Sabbatical Leaves

Sabbatical leaves may be awarded for various reasons related to scholarly or professional growth, development, or renewal, including creative endeavors that promise to enhance the professional effectiveness of the applicant. Applications must be made as specified in the employee’s relevant collective bargaining agreement or the Personnel Plan for Minnesota State Administrators. 

A Faculty member or administrator awarded such a leave is required to meet the general principles and requirements as outlined in Board Policy 4.7.
