The College shall follow the Emergency Procedures Guide and follow the basic emergency procedures outlined in the Guide to enhance the protection of lives and property through the effective use of college and campus community resources. The College also recognizes the need to facilitate the safe evacuation and sheltering of persons with disabilities by following the guideline set forth in the emergency procedures guide. Whenever an emergency affecting the campus reaches proportions that cannot be handled by routine measures, the president or their designate may declare a state of emergency, and the contingency guidelines may be implemented as outlined in the emergency procedures guide.

06.02.00.1 – Emergency Procedures

The College President or designee shall follow the guidelines provided in the Emergency Procedures Guide in responding to major emergencies or disasters. The procedures outlined in the Emergency Guide apply to all personnel, buildings and grounds, owned and operated by the College to include those peripheral areas adjoining the College.
