Thailiny’s Story

Thailiny is an international student at SPC. She was studying English when she learned about the opportunities to grow and improve both her academic and professional life at SPC. Through the EAP program followed by the Communication Transfer Pathway, Thailiny has been able to focus on her academic and career goals while improving her English skills.

Beyond her academic pursuits, Thailiny has fully embraced the SPC community and is now a student worker at the International Student Services. She has fallen in love with the diversity and approachability of the students, staff, and especially the instructors. Following her success at SPC, Thailiny plans to transfer to a four-year college to continue to fulfill her academic goals.

Thailiny’s Advice to Anyone Considering SPC:

Come prepared to find strong support and encouragement for your academic and professional pathway. From my own experience, the challenges we face along the way are truly supported by the Saint Paul College team.
