Program Overview

With a Biology degree, you can explore job opportunities in biotechnology, genetics, microbiology, ecology, conservation, and more. You’ll develop valuable problem-solving skills and gain an understanding of the way biology influences society. A biology degree can open up unexpected doors of opportunity – from researching new treatments or cures for diseases to working outdoors to protecting animal habitats.

Advanced Instrumentation and Facilities

Students receive hands-on training and experience on advanced instrumentation commonly used in industry. 

​Science Scholar Program

Selected students will be awarded up to $16,000. Scholars will participate in relationship-building co-curricular activities to increase their success: faculty and peer mentoring, science-related campus events and service-learning, and a semester-long undergraduate research project.

Flexible Program Options

Opportunity to complete a marketable Research Certificate or Science and Engineering Technology degree alongside your biology degree. Independent research opportunities are also available! 

Help When You Need It

Free access to science study center plus tutoring available online or in-person. Our teaching-focused faculty instruct all lectures and labs, and small class sizes mean you’ll get 1:1 help when needed.
